Our mission is to provide the highest quality of clinical services to promote emotional well-being of all clients we encounter. We are committed to the core values of integrity, responsiveness, accountability and innovation to enhance the lives of the unique clientele in which we serve.
We believe that addiction is a chronic disease that must be treated with a long-term continuum of care that not only addresses the symptoms of addiction but the underlying causes, conditions, behaviors, attitudes, values, family dynamics and world view of each individual struggling with substance abuse disorder and behavioral addictions.
Help-seekers come to us with varied experiences specific to their multicultural identity which is inclusive of their racial and ethnic membership, gender, sexuality, social class, religious affiliation, nationality, disability status, political perspective, culture and/or size. We strive to integrate multiculturalism into the everyday functioning and structure of our agency. In doing so, we offer services and programs that are inclusive, and give voice to varied experiences while providing a safe place to be heard, appreciated, and accepted.
Our consumer’s voice, preferences, and perspectives are highly valued and an integral part of our treatment approach. Clients have access to high quality, consumer-driven, trauma-specific services designed to promote recovery and resilience. We recognize how widespread traumatic experiences are in our society and how exposures to those experiences impact our well-being and physical health. Multicultural Trauma and Addiction Treatment Center of Wisconsin operates with a trauma informed philosophy. Our intention is to promote healing while also empowering our clients to create purpose driven lives.
